Upcoming Readings/Book Launches:
On Nov. 16, I will be a featured reader, along with my friend Brenda Clews, at the Third Thursday Reading Series in
Cobourg. Doors open at 7 pm in the Best Western Plus Cobourg Inn & Convention Centre.
On Mar. 4, 2024, I will a featured reader at the long-running Art Bar series. Free Times Cafe, 320 College St., Toronto.

On CIUT, 89.5 FM. Valentino Assenza hosted a special edition of HOWL on "Jazz and Poetry." Along with jazz musician Michael Occhipinti, and poet/performer/novelist Andrea Thompson, I talked about some of the similarities, influences and crossovers between the two arts.

Speculative Fiction on Global Warming
CLI FI: Canadian Tales of Climate Change has been launched by Exile Editions in Toronto. Edited by Bruce Meyer, this anthology stems from a call for Canadian writers to consider a story set after many of the effects of global warming have affected the planet. My short story "After" is included. TVO's "The Agenda" devoted a show to the book. Publishers Weekly says "Meyer (Testing the Elements) has gathered an eclectic variety of eco-fictions from some of Canada’s top genre writers, each of which, he writes, reminds readers that “the world is speaking to us and that it is our duty, if not a covenant, to listen to what it has to say.” I
